Qualification Criteria: Candidates are required to hold a diploma from an AICTE-approved institute or university in the relevant branch. The diploma should be acquired with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) or equivalent CGPA.
Admission to Jadavpur University: Aspiring students, keen on obtaining admission at Jadavpur University, need to ensure they have secured an aggregate of 60% (45% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in the appropriate branch from an AICTE-approved institution or university.
Age Limitation: There is no specific upper age limit imposed on diploma holders.
Eligibility for Pharmacy Degree Course: Diploma holders in Pharmacy aspiring to enroll in the degree course in Pharmacy will be considered eligible for admission to the first year in case the second-year seats (lateral entry) already have been filled.
Ques. Does JELET impose any age restrictions?
Ans. According to the eligibility criteria for JELET, diploma holders in Engineering, Pharmacy, or Technology do not have any age restriction. Meanwhile, those with a B.Sc. degree are eligible up to the age of 27 years. The age limit for a Diploma in Marine Engineering is 25 years.

Ans. Applicants have the option to select a maximum of two examination centers prior to participating in the WBJEE JELET exam.

Ans. The Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) is organized to select students for entry into the second year or third semester of Bachelor's degree programs in fields such as Engineering, Technology, and Pharmacy. However, this does not include Architecture. The examination is applicable for both government and private colleges within West Bengal.
Ques. Is a candidate possessing a BSc degree eligible to apply for JELET?
