Application Process

The IB ACIO selection process consists of the following stages:

  • Application form: Applicants must complete the IB ACIO application form online. Male candidates from the General, EWS, and OBC categories must pay an exam fee as well as recruiting processing fees. Candidates who are SC/ST, female, or ExSM must pay recruiting processing costs.
  • Admit card distribution: Candidates are provided IB ACIO admit cards online independently for each step of the recruitment process. Candidates must input the needed login credentials in order to download the admission card.
  • IB ACIO Exam: The IB ACIO exam has three stages/tier: I, II, and III. Stage I/ Tier I consist of a five-part objective type paper. This exam has a total score of 100 points. Candidates must get the requisite cut-off marks to pass the Tier I test. The cut-off points for the UR category are 35, while the cut-off marks for OBC/EWS candidates are 34. For SC/ST applicants, the IB ACIO cut-off level is 33. Candidates who pass the Tier I exam are invited to take the Tier II exam. Stage II/ Tier II is a 50-point descriptive type test. Shortlisting for the interview is done based on candidates' performance in the Tier I and II exams. The interview is worth 100 points.
  • Result Declaration: The results for each stage are published online. The IB ACIO result is published in PDF format and includes the roll numbers of qualifying applicants. 
  • Final Selection: Candidates are chosen based on their performance in Tiers I, II, and III, as well as their interview. Selected individuals must go through document verification and a medical test.
     

Cut Off :    

  • Tier 1 IB ACIO Cut Off: The IB ACIO cut off for Tier 1 is determined in order to shortlist applicants for the next step of the selection process, Tier 2. Candidates must also get the requisite qualifying grades. Candidates must not only meet the qualifying marks, but they must also meet the minimum cut off marks for their category. The IB ACIO cut off for this stage is set at 100 points.
  • Tier 2 IB ACIO Cut Off: To shortlist applicants for interviews, the IB ACIO cut off marks for Tier 2 are set. Tier 2 requires a minimum of 33% in order to qualify. This implies that contestants must obtain 17 points out of a possible 50. Candidates for the interview are chosen based on Tier 2 scores five times the number of openings.    
  • IB ACIO Cut Off for Final Selection: Following the interview, the IB ACIO final cut off is revealed. Tier 1, 2, and Interview scores are used to determine the ultimate cut off. Candidates with marks equal to or higher than the cut off mark are chosen for appointment. The IB ACIO cut off for interviews is based on a 100-point scale.
