Introduction

SGBAU got established in the year 1983 on Maharashtra day to enhance and encourage rural education in Maharashtra. The University got affiliated from various funding agencies like UGC, DST, DBT, AICTE, DRDO, DAE, RGSTC, etc. It offers Undergraduate and Post graduate degree in various streams of science and technology, computer application, library info, commerce and humanities. The university has a special recognition by the way of its collaborations with the premier institutes inside and outside the country. The institute campus is having facilities like Canteen, Post Office, Bank, Employment Bureau, Transportation Services of Municipal Corporation, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.
