Exam Pattern
The AFCAT exam is split up into two sections: online exams and AFSB tests. The online test is mandatory for all enrolled applicants. Questions from the General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test are included in the test. Mechanical, Computer Science, and Electrical & Electronics questions are included in the EKT, which is held for applicants in the Technical branch. AFCAT has a maximum score of 300 points. EKT's exam paper carries a total of 150 points. There are three phases to the AFSB test. Officer Intelligence Rating Test, Picture Perception Test, and Discussion Test make up the first stage, while Psychological Test, Group Tests, and Interview make up the second. Applicants for the flying branch must participate in the Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS). The final merit list is compiled using the results of the online exam as well as the AFSB interview.
