Introduction

Chaudhary Charan Singh University (Meerut University) was established in 1965. Presently it one of the leading universities situated in Uttar Pradesh consisting of a beautiful pollution-free campus of 222 acres. It gives extensive facilities like Gymnasium, Indoor Stadium, well-equipped Library, Hostels for both girls and boys, Administrative Block, Spacious Auditorium, Guest House, Community Center, Medical Center, Residential, well-equipped laboratory and residential for the staff. Also, there is 2 UGC sponsored, and 35 self-financed/job oriented courses being run in the campus. It is affiliated by 252 professional colleges/institutions 109 colleges and one constituent college. University has a regular basis academic programmes like a seminar, etc. to enhance children and has well-qualified faculty members. Its achievements are not only limited to studies but also in various fields like sports. Our students have set up the mark on NET, GATE, ARS, GRE and other examinations such as civil and administrative services, etc. UGC, DBT, DST, ICAR, AICTE, UPSTC, CSIR and other funding agencies of the central and state governments are sanctioned under our university for various research activities.
